A message from Herb Dhaliwal

Over the past while I have had the opportunity to speak with British Columbians from many different backgrounds and communities. I have heard a common concern: for many people, the political choices available now do not reflect their values or where they believe British Columbia should be headed.

The “NEW Liberal Party” is an effort to address that gap. We are building a modern political option rooted in individual freedom, equality of opportunity, responsible government, free enterprise, compassion, and confidence in the future — principles that belong in the political centre.

I believe there is a place for a real LIBERAL choice in British Columbian politics. This Party is being created to provide that important choice. By invoking the highly-respected philosophy of LIBERALISM, we recognize the historic popularity — including currently — of the Liberal brand in Canadian public affairs. Our initiative is sure to elicit strong approval from British Columbians eager to support a modern, moderate political movement. The “NEW Liberal Party” is pledged to building a better future for everyone privileged to call B.C. home.
